A big event is coming up for the 8th graders. They are preparing a trial about the book The Outsiders. Each student was assigned either witness, representing a character, jury, judging who wins, the prosecution attorney or the defense attorney. Each student was given a specific task to complete before the trial. Everyone is working very hard to make this trial as hard to win as possible. The students will debate about if Johnny (a character from the book) is guilty of killing another character called Bob for self-defense. This trial will take place in the MPR on October 18. Parents are invited, also students from all grades. Hope to see you there!!
