Interview of Mrs. Callahan

By: Ariel Klein

As we know there are many new teachers this year in ASA. This time we had the pleasure to share time with the 7th and 8th math teacher Karen Callahan.

Mrs. Callahan is an American teacher who recently moved to Paraguay this year.  She highlighted that she loves Paraguay. Mrs. Callahan came to Paraguay after teaching in Las Vegas, USA.

Before her kids were born she loved visiting and learning about other cultures. So, after her kids were born, she stopped traveling with the necessity of raising her two daughters. Now that her daughters are studying in universities she is free to visit new countries.

Mrs. Callahan got the job through Dr. Beck who offered her the vacant math position.  Mrs. Callahan should love visit many other countries, specifically Bhutan. Also, she would have like to go work to a country of French language which she knows perfectly.

It’s a pleasure to have such a nice teacher.

We hope she has a fantastic year!
